PhD Program: Biomedical Engineering
Advisor: James M. Anderson, MD, PhD
Laboratory: Wolstein Research Building WRB-5104
Undergraduate Institution: University of Michigan
Hometown: Grand Blanc, MI.
Research Interests: biomaterials, tissue engineering
About me: I was a Chemical Engineering major at the University of Michigan and entered the MST program at CWRU directly from undergrad. I completed my Ph.D. work in biomedical engineering with a specific focus on the biological response to biomaterial surfaces. My interests are in biomaterial implants and tissue engineering. I am currently in my final year of medical school and pursuing an ENT residency.
In terms of extracurricular interests, I love playing sports and playing music and have been fortunate enough to be able to continue these activities (despite all the injuries I've sustained playing sports). During my time at Case, I have also enjoyed salsa dancing.
If you have any questions about Case MSTP or Cleveland, I'd love to hear from you.
