Research Interests: I synthesize synthetic platelets and work to bring them from the bench to the bedside by testing their efficacy and safety in large animal models.

About me: DaShawn is enthusiastically involved at CWRU and serves as the National Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Student National Medical Association. He enjoys dancing, choreographing, movies, and traveling.

Comment about the MSTP program: The CWRU MSTP is an amazing program the supports its students in all that they do. It fosters an atmosphere of community and collaboration. Deciding to join the CWRU MSTP Family is a decision I don't regret!!
